In Get Mashed, two screens sit in conversation with one another, showing the beginning and end of a potato’s life within the kitchen. Purposely excluding any human intervention, potatoes switch effortlessly from whole to peeled, disappearing and reappearing in different states, until they are boiled and mashed within the blink of an eye.
